Why Us

Mayfair Catering was formed in 1999 by two chefs. We felt then as we feel now that through a real focus on the central London venue sector we could offer far superior quality, service and price.

Our history has born this out; starting with one small venue in 1999 we have now grown to 9 venues across Central London. We are proud that we have never lost a venue; we build long term strong relations with our customers, suppliers and staff. After every event, we survey our client for feedback and vitally act on what they tell us.

Above all the success of each and every event is determined by the people involved. In 2014 the average length of service of our staff was 6.3 years, this compares to an industry average of 2.4 years (the caterer April 14).

We believe our green credentials are market leading, we have helped our client Cavendish Conference Venues become the first land fill free venue in London. We have an active policy of reducing our food miles; we monitor our supply chain via our accounting software and actively promote local suppliers. We have a target of a 15% reduction in food miles each year. We are striving to eliminate all disposable items from our operations (individually packaged sugar etc). These policies have resulted in many client wins, Green party conference 2014, Fairtrade foundation etc.

Uniquely we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is when it comes to lead generation.
