About Us

Formed in 1999 by two classically trained chefs, we describe ourselves as a medium-sized catering company: large enough to reassure our clients that we will deliver each and every time while being small enough to offer true personal service.

We specialise in catering to the central London conference and meetings market. Our total focus is on providing appetising and tasty food, made from the freshest ingredients, served with flair and style. Our approach has transformed the food that our companies offer to their staff, clients and customers.

Building long-term, strong relations with our customers, suppliers and staff is incredibly important to us and we have grown from one client in 1999 to 9 retained venues in 2015. This growth has come about purely by word of mouth. We survey our clients for feedback after every event and act on their suggestions to constantly improve our offering.

We believe our green credentials are market leading, we have helped our client Cavendish Conference Venues become the first zero to landfill accredited venue in London. We have an active policy of reducing our food miles and are striving to eliminate all disposable items from our operations.

The food is of a consistently high quality and nothing is too much trouble.

Before founding Mayfair Catering Tom was executive chef for Restaurant Partnership Ltd after working in Germany, Holland and Switzerland.

Tom Mayers

Director

Tom worked in the food businesses in Paris and Canada before helping found Mayfair Catering in 1999.

Operations Manager

Joined in 2001 and in charge of operations with long food and beverage background in 5 star establishments.
